1) Describe briefly how you got involved with Empty Arms.

I was introduced to empty arms through an amazing nurse at Baystate Hospital while I delivered my sleeping daughter at 17 weeks, who happened to be my third miscarriage.

2) What makes you most proud of the work we do/What do you like most about Empty Arms?

I like letting others know that they’re not alone. While navigating this pain and grief, it can feel very isolating but it doesn’t have to be. Unfortunately, they’re more people experiencing this loss more than other people realize. I like being able to be a part of this community that has a variety of resources to help Mothers (no matter their kind of loss) come together and grief in a way that works best for them.

3) Share a passion in your life and/or work outside of EABS.

I have two living children which I love to take on adventures and we’re tackling homeschooling this year. I enjoy arts and crafts, coloring and painting. I do enjoy staying active and participating in a variety of 5Ks.
