Kendra Greene (She/Her)
Trying for Another Baby Support Group Facilitator
1) Describe briefly how you got involved with Empty Arms.
I became involved with Empty Arms after my son Noah died unexpectedly during childbirth. I had never imagined this outcome and didn't know anyone else who had lost a baby. I felt alone and unsure how I would ever move forward. Empty Arms connected me with other grieving mothers - some in the depths of their grief, others years beyond their loss - who gave me hope that healing and joy were possible again. As a yoga teacher, I began offering classes in Vermont as a way to help people reconnect with the bodies and mind, regulate the nervous systems and connect with others in the community.
2) What makes you most proud of the work we do/What do you like most about Empty Arms?
What makes me most proud of the work we do is the connections we create. We're always cheering each other on and helping support one another.
3) Share a passion in your life and/or work outside of EABS.
I'm passionate about ensuring that everyone deserves support and care—not just during pregnancy and postpartum, but also through fertility journeys, which are often lonely and challenging. This passion drove me to become a Fertility Coach working 1-1 and in groups.
As a family, my husband Ben and I love traveling with our two living children, skiing in the winter, spending our summers in the Adirondacks, and tending to the flower garden we built in memory of Noah.
Kendra is located in Georgia, Vermont.
